Mary Jo Bang

Mary Jo Bang is the author of eight books of poems, including Elegy, which won the National Book Critics Circle Award. She has translated Dante’s Inferno and Purgatorio, and her translations of poems by Matthias Göritz, Colonies of Paradise, was published in October 2022.
